Licensing is the easy part

Most Microsoft 365 problems we see aren’t missing features; they’re features that were never configured. Default sharing settings, administrator accounts without strong authentication and unmanaged devices are where trouble usually starts.

What we set up

Identity

Entra ID with multifactor authentication, Conditional Access and separate administrator accounts, plus a clean connection to on-premises Active Directory where you still need one.

Email and collaboration

Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, with sharing settings that match how you actually work.

Devices

Intune and Windows Autopilot for managed, encrypted, up-to-date laptops and desktops, including Windows 11 upgrades now that Windows 10 has reached end of support.

Data protection

Retention, sensitivity labels and data-loss prevention where they’re worth it, plus a separate backup, because retention isn’t backup.

Azure

Virtual machines, networking and backup in Azure when a workload belongs in the cloud, with costs understood up front.

Copilot and AI

Microsoft 365 Copilot and other AI tools, introduced after permissions are cleaned up. AI business integration

Government cloud

Defense contractors that handle CUI or export-controlled data often need Microsoft’s government offerings, such as GCC or GCC High, which differ in licensing, features and administration. They’re purchased through authorized channels; we help you decide whether you need them, plan the move and configure them. See CMMC and CUI environments.

How it works

  1. Review A security and licensing review of your current tenant.
  2. Plan Fixes and changes in priority order, with licensing matched to need.
  3. Configure Identity, sharing, devices and data protection set up and documented.
  4. Migrate Mailboxes, files and devices moved with minimal disruption.
  5. Support Ongoing administration and changes as you grow.

Questions we hear

Do we need the most expensive licenses?

Rarely for everyone. Many organizations do well with business or enterprise plans plus targeted add-ons for the people who need them. We map the features you actually need to the least expensive licensing that delivers them.

Can you clean up a tenant someone else set up?

Yes. We start with a review of identity, sharing, devices and administrator access, then fix the highest-risk issues first.

Does Microsoft back up our data?

Microsoft protects the service, not your data from deletion or ransomware. Retention policies help, but a separate backup is still worth having.
